Congratulations to Mr. Warren and his FFA students who have won the National Horticulture Judging championship this week in Ohio.
The students representing Wawasee High School were Katie Pollock, Scott Gerke, Tim Bowling, and Becky Clayton.
We are proud of you all!
The Wawascene was created by Dr. Mark Stock, former Superintendent of the Wawasee Community School Corporation. Due to its local popularity, Dr. Stock has left the blog site to future Wawasee administrators.

OUTSTANDING!!!! It is my hope that in some way the corporation can honor these young people because it is no secret that they will be ignored at the high school because they do not believe in celebrating any outstanding effort there in anything!
I am sorry that your experience has given you the impression that student successes are not celebrated at the high school. In reality, there are MANY celebration dinners for various extra-curricular groups each year. More importantly, we work daily in the classroom to celebrate academic successes. There are visitor passes available in the Main Office of the High School. Why not come by some day and see what is really going on at WHS?
Hurray!!!! I am very proud of these kids. They have worked hard with Mr. Warren's guidance to carry on a Wawasee FFA tradition of excellence.
