The Wawascene was created by Dr. Mark Stock, former Superintendent of the Wawasee Community School Corporation. Due to its local popularity, Dr. Stock has left the blog site to future Wawasee administrators.

Inclement Weather Information

Since we are entering the winter season with the possibility of delays and/or closings, we wanted to post some reminders.
  1. You can receive notifications regarding information on delays and closings by signing up at weareclosedtoday.com. Click on the Community Members link, the Register Free Account link, and then follow the instructions.
  2. If we would need to delay on a Wednesday, there would be no SMART Start. The two-hour delay would follow the two-hour delay schedule of any other day of the week.
