I believe you have a typo in there. It should read that January 8 will start with a 2 hour delay with no smart start.

I hate it when this happens because now I have to walk to school in the morning. You should think this through because I don't want to have to walk to school in below freezing weather

The roads are really just a sheet of ice in North Webster. I really do not want my kids driving in this weather

No other school corporation in the area is open Wednesday....are we seeing snow disappear overnight with a warmup that we don't know about? Roads are still treacherous and it will be a dangerous travel for students and teachers tomorrow! Rethink this!

I would love an explanation as to why every school around us is cancelled for tomorrow yet we are still expected to put our children on buses tomorrow morning. I live out in EH and I can all but promise the backroads drivers are going to have to take are still going to be snow and ice covered. As of right now you can't even see pavement let alone anything else.

The roads are drifting again and they are slick, and people still haven't learned how to clean of their cars or trucks! The wind chill is still negative. I still think they should cancel school again on Wed. They are still saying they don't want people out unless they really have to be. Just my opinion.

Some TV stations have Wawasee closed! Which is it? Very confusing!

Should be closed...Roads are almost completely drifted over out in the country.

All the websites for our school I've checked have us at a 2 hr delay. What channels are you watching?? I've checked WNDU, WANE, and Willie 103.5, plus both school sites. WSBT wouldn't come up with a list to check.

Wawasee needs to close. Conditions will not be any better in the morning. I do not feel safe putting my kids on the bus. It is ice out there.

Thus is crazy, The reason why Allison Angel was incapacitated in a car wreck two years ago is because we don't cancel school activities like we should when appropriate. If anything we should've canceled school tomorrow yesterday just because we knew The roads were going to be and they will be, terrible tomorrow. Your discretion shouldn't be taken lightly, preventative measure are more important than saving summer days of school

I agree with this whole thing

I find it blatant disregard for the safety of our children to send them to school tomorrow in these conditions! What is ice now (pretty much every road in the county) is going to be ice in the morning. That combined with the sub zero wind chills again in the morning are a recipe for disaster. Can you really see buses going down Boliver Hill or Tippecanoe Country Club Rd safely?!? Give me a break! These conditions are not going to magically disappear overnight. Come on Wawasee let's be sensible here. These are our children's lives and I for one, am not willing to risk them.

This is crazy it is below zero and every other school has canceld this is puting are children in danger

Just cancel school already for tomorrow. The roads are a sheet of ice. What makes you think in the morning the roads are going to magically be better? It would be nice to be able to plan ahead of time with sitters for our children. I guess it really doesn't matter I will not be sending my kids to school tomorrow if you chose to stil have school.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! DELAY ?? Have you been out on the back roads?????? Nothing but a sheet of ice and no reliefs in temps overnight!!!! I WILL NOT send my child to school tomorrow and put him at risk, nor should it count against him because of someone's disregard of safety. This decision is putting so many at risk, including your teachers and staff.

I have been outside on the roads and for one live in Warsaw but Wawasee district and the long drive and many back roads are still barely if at all passable, nothing but ice, barely if any spots have been sanded, there are wipe outs everywhere. Not to mention why are we the only school in this area still having school? I think its crazy!!

Disappointed in the decision to delay and not cancel. I wonder if school officials ever read comments on here as it's obvious the community does not agree with the poor decision.

There really shouldn't be any school. They need to rethink this.

I'm just saying that they really need to cancel because some parents won't allow there children to get on a bus and go to school with these road conditions!

Can't believe we haven't canceled yet. That's ridiculous. Roads are very dangerous!
