What a mess this morning!

Bad timing hits again.

The snow hit well after the deadlines and buses were well on the way this morning when the lake effect hammered us. Roads were slick with numerous car accidents.

Take care. Have a good day!

Dr. Stock,

I think you might want to consider this old saying, "better safe than sorry." I appreciate you wanting to maximize school time, but when safety is an issue, I'd rather ensure safety.

I can tell you that maximizing school time never entered my mind. It was a judgement decision on what to do when all the buses are on the road with students on them and most parents have left for work - then it hits. Is it better "safe than sorry" to finish the routes carefully before it worsens or reverse course and send kids home to empty houses?

What to do?

When I got up at 6:00 in New Paris, ne'er a flake had fallen. Nothing you can do about this one! Good call Doc
