Monday Cancellation

No school Monday.

We tried this morning, but according to Mr. Green, our head mechanic, all the buses in the "bull pen" have trouble staying running. Cold weather is causing the fuel to jell up.

Too many buses will not stay running.

Make up day will be February 19.

Shucks. Sounds like the next couple of days are suppose to be very cold also. I hate to see us lose our three-day weekends in February, March, and May. Guess we can't argue with Mother Nature!

Well i dont like cancelations but i understand the fuel gelling problem happens with our trucks way to often. kudos for trying though

Keep us updated on the next few days. Today was just to cold to be dealing with school.

If you would plug in the buses that wouldnt be a problem.

Thanks Dr. Stock. It's good to know all I have to do is log on to your blog and there it is.

plugging in the bus only keeps the engine block warm not the fuel tank

I was wondering if Wawasee will have school tomorrow or if there will be a two hour delay?

I was wondering that also Dr. Stock!

Maybe we could work in a deal to switch our buses to ethanol via the plant that is going in over at Milford.

You are to be commended for a wise decision of protecting the safety of the kids and bus drivers. Better than the fiasco of the bad decision made by Ft. Wayne Community Schools which caused unnecessary problems today.
