Two hour delay Wednesday

There is a two hour delay for Wednesday.

Medium to heavy fog blanketing most of the school district.

Drive carefully.

Mark Post at 5:51 the delay for Tuesday.

Mark, the time stamp for the comments suggest people know what you are thinking before you post it

cleared off early in my neck of the woods, but it was a great call in my opinion. Good call with not closing or further delay yesterday. Weather channel said 9:00 clearing, and thats what it did!!

Rich,

I changed the time stamp for comments to just a date stamp since the time stamp on the comment template is never correct.

Dr. Stock,

Have you reconsidered not notifying WNDU 16 TV on school closing and delays? Thank you for your attention to this matter.

If you have Internet access, this blog site is still the best source for checking about a delay. Not having the delay on channel 16 is really no big deal. I can understand Dr. Stock's desire to reduce the number of contacts he needs to make on the morning of a delay. Refer to his earlier blog relaying this information.

The Blog sight is a nice place to check for delays UNLESS you have to use the phone or do not have a computer. We need to remember that some people do not have two phone lines nor does everyone have computer access. Channel 16 is the best bet. Who watches channel 22 anyway??

I watch Channel 22. You can watch Channel 22 if there is any doubt in your mind about a delay. You can even switch back and forth between Channel 16 and 22 with very little effort! :)

I don't mind watching Channel 22, but I think people should have a choice. I listen to WFRN and hear announcements for Warsaw and other area schools, but I can only get Wawasee if I listen to WRSW or WAWC and only on one TV channel. If Dr. Stock really wants to meet the needs of the community, he will make the same phone calls that our neighboring school superintendents do.

I would like to have Mr. Stock and all those who work in our corperation spend more time focusing on education and less time informing people who are to lazy to change habits.

Stick by your guns Mr. Stock.

Amen to that last comment!!!

Several times last year we had a delay or closing that wasn't included on channel 16, for some reason they dropped the ball and didn't include Wawasee, so I had to check channel 22. Dr. Stock, keep the reliable ones!!
